SlowRida's ride began with our founder's thrilling passion for scootering in the historic streets of Washington, DC. As a previous educator in Greater Boston, she witnessed the determination of students who biked or walked to school with their families, sparking her curiosity about safer & more efficient transportation solutions. Her role as a commuter enthusiast in the area further fueled this quest.
